uniGPT
the data privacy-friendly chatbot of the University of Graz
uniGPT is based on the ChatGPT technology from the company OpenAI. This means that uniGPT uses OpenAI's trained language model and can respond to us in natural language, i.e. in the same way that we humans speak to each other.
uniGPT is made available within the Microsoft Cloud in a secure environment. This ensures the highest possible level of data protection so that you can also work with internal uni documents. Nevertheless, care must be taken (see below)!
However, uniGPT is not a 1:1 copy of the original chatbot from OpenAI. uniGPT is an independent chatbot, therefore new functions or new models from the original ChatGPT are not automatically transferred to uniGPT.
You have never tried AI but are curious?
The uniGPT Brownbag Lunch Workshops focus on the motto ‘uniGPT for beginners’ and are designed for anyone who is curious about AI but has had limited or no contact with this new technology. During a knowledge-active lunch break, employees can find out about the University of Graz's new AI chatbot and its many possible use cases. Information on upcoming dates and registration options can be found here.
