Data Lab
The Data Lab is a department of the IDea_Lab.
We drive digital innovation at the university. We monitor current technological developments and implement them - together with other units of the university - in practice-oriented projects with the aim of supporting researchers in data-intensive projects.
We are responsible for developing the university's data governance. We design guidelines for research data management and develop strategies for the smart handling of data.
We organise workshops for university members. We offer workshops in the formats #Skills and #Bridge.
The #Skills workshops offer university employees the opportunity to deepen their expertise in AI, big data, and data-driven research. The workshops are characterised by their focus on current technological topics and their hands-on nature.
The #Bridge workshops bring university employees together with various social actors, such as start-ups, NGOs, initiatives, and public institutions. The workshops offer space for know-how transfer, exchange, and networking in the context of AI & Big Data.
We connect the university with technology partners. We bring researchers and technology developers together and jointly conceptualise new projects.
